Courtney Hunter is a North Carolina native from the city of Charlotte.  She founded Glass Slipper Weddings & Events in January of 2016, where she serves as Senior Consultant and Designer, and has been planning weddings and other social events since 2006.

She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies and later attended the graduate school of business in pursuit of a Master’s Degree in Accounting at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

Courtney has an extensive background in business management and over 17 years’ experience in customer service.  She worked with her previous employer for over 15 years, last serving as CEO, before deciding to take the plunge and pursue her lifelong dream of owning her own business.  With a passion for love and all things wedding, she now focuses her attention on making other people’s dreams come true and bringing their wedding day vision to life.

Courtney received credentials as a Certified Wedding and Event Planner from the Lovegevity Wedding Planning Institute through the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and most recently, received certification through The Karen Tran Master Floral Class, hosted at the magnificent Greenbrier Resort.  She is also a member of the highly-regarded Association of Bridal Consultants.
